SIGAR-BIKE is an initiative to introduce solar-powered electric bikes in rural areas as part of NTB’s smart village transformation. Facing limited access to clean transportation and rising fuel costs, many villages remain disconnected from sustainable mobility. This program aims to provide affordable, low-emission transport powered by renewable energy, while supporting local tourism, education, and daily mobility. The ultimate goal is to create a clean, connected, and community-driven transportation ecosystem—reducing carbon footprints and positioning NTB as a model for rural green innovation.
